Marvel Claims It's Building a Connected Universe Across Its Games

Marvel games already has its mega-teamup game in the free browser/mobile title Avengers Alliance, which will expand this year to include characters from this year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy films. It also has the MMO Marvel Heroes, LEGO Marvel Y1 apk Superheroes, Deadpool and Y1 com

a number of other mobile games. Sony, not Marvel, owns the film rights Y1 apk

for Spider-Man, so the game based on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is in a weird spot. We can try to make sense out of all those games now if we want, but this emerging initiative is not so clear-cut as the MCU was when Marvel started down that road years ago. Probably it’s just not all neatly planned out yet, and thus the vague language from Jefferson on the matter. Perhaps, someday…
